Why buy a pre-owned bag in Japan

Japan has one of the largest and most carefully run luxury resale markets in the world. Secondhand dealers there are licensed, and the large resale houses grade everything they sell, so a used bag comes with a clear account of its condition rather than a vague “good”.

Most of that stock never reaches international buyers: the dealers sell domestically, in Japanese, to Japanese cards. We buy it the way a local customer does and ship it to you.

Condition, on Japan’s letter scale

Every bag here is graded on the Japanese scale — N, S, A, B, C — with a plain-English note on what that grade means for this particular piece. Look at the photographs for corners, handles and the interior, and ask us before checkout if something is not shown.

Not seeing the one you want?

This page is a short list. Tell us the exact model, size and color you are after and we will look across the Japanese market for that bag. Sending a request is free.

Common questions

What if it turns out not to be authentic?
You get a full refund. That applies to everything we sell, on What’s Hot or through a request.
When is my card charged?
At checkout your card is authorized, not charged. We capture the payment only once the piece is secured in Japan; if we cannot secure it, the authorization is released in full.

Looking for something that isn't here?

This is a short list. Japan has far more than we can put on one page, so tell us the exact piece you want and we'll go find that one for you.
